Pines Lake has had a Swim Team for over 40 years.  It is open to Association members through the age of 18.  Last year we had some 70 swimmers from over 40 families.  Swimmers need to meet just two requirements. First, they must be comfortable in the water and have confidence to briefly hold their breath underwater.  Second, they must be able to swim unassisted in the lane lines from one side of the dock to the other.

We are members of the Ramapo Hills Swim Conference. It is comprised of 10 teams.  We have 6 meets, most on Friday mornings at 10am.  At the end of the season there is a Championship meet.

 

 

NEWS:

"Championships will be taking place the first of August, 8-1-11. We do not have enough room for every child to swim in this meet due to the rules of the league. Please excuse the inconvenience, but if your child has been to every meet they have more of a probability to swim. If you know he or she will not be around for the meet, please let the coaches know via email or call no later than Tuesday July 26.

Dear Pines Lake Predators Parents

     As you are aware this team does not function without your help.  At each swim meet there are a number of required jobs that need to be attended to for the meet to run.  As well as set up and some clean up both before and after the meet.  It is all our responsibilities to help out when needed.

   I was made aware that at our last swim meet, of all the parents at the beach to watch and cheer our team on, only TWO parents stayed after to assist in clean up of the snack stand area.  It is vital that we all lend a hand and help.

     Due to work schedule I will not be able to attend this Fridays meet, so it is even more important that parents stand up and help out.

    Its is very important that all parents check the website to see there volunteer positions, remember it is YOUR responsibility to be on the dock or in the snack stand doing what ever task you have been assigned and if you can not attend it is your responsibility to get some one to cover your job
